In the next two issues, Evanston Woman Magazine will be providing FREE advertising to small businesses to support their vision, and grow consumer awareness to save our local independent businesses.
COMMUNITY IMPACT FUND
YOU'RE INVITED TO DONATE TO THE COMMUNITY IMPACT FUND. ANY AMOUNT WILL CONTINUE OUR WORK.
THANK YOU FOR INVESTING IN OUR COMMUNITY.
For the past 4 years, Evanston Woman Magazine has provided our community a space to embrace small businesses, empower women, and contribute to Evanston's Gross Domestic Product.
Last year, I launched the Evanston Women's Business Guild. After studying and measuring the needs of women in Evanston, a center is NOT what was needed. I recently changed word 'center' to 'Guild' and today, Evanston Woman Magazine and Evanston Women's Business Guild are now one entity to help and support sustain local businesses.
As you can see the pictures above Evanston Woman has made a deep impact in the Evanston community. As an organization we will continue to bring the same amount of support plus more as we work on closing the gap of inequity, creating a space for community involvement, and
empowering the voice of locally owned businesses.
In past four years, Evanston Woman has created over 192 business relationships, donated over $32,000 in community marketing, $3500 in cash grants, and $28,000 in free - discounted advertising. We understand the basic need to sustain growth; education, resources, and tools. Our organization goes beyond the basic needs, we find solutions.
As our mission continues to grow, I ask of each you to think about what our small business community will look like. We are not the big women's organization or the major local community organization.. this organization creates more than hope. We create of space of "YES" it can and will be done!!
Here's to the next decade to serving a diverse group of small businesses!

Our Focus | Our Purpose | Our Goal | Our Mission
Evanston Woman Magazine is created by a community of women. Our focus is creating spaces to discuss and share topics based in enhancing the lives of others.
Our team works with community leaders, organizations, professionals, and educators to bring more education through features to provide a level of resources to address the needs to enhance the lives of our readers.
Our purpose is simple, one magazine, one event, one day at a time by creating goals such as providing minority and women owned businesses an opportunity to place FREE advertising, or features to help grow their business. In addition, Evanston Woman provides FREE workshops to engage community members, and we hire local women to partner with to create Evanston Woman.
Combining our focus and our purpose we craft our mission: To support and strengthen the leadership, voices, and empower women from family, career, motherhood, and service.
